I’ve been a bit MIA lately, mostly because my family was away on vacation in Florida last week, and I just haven’t gotten back into the swing of things since I’ve been home. We had an amazing family vacation—we did Disneyworld and Legoland and the whole shebang with our 4 kiddos. AND…we didn’t lose anyone in the chaos of it all!!! Haha! (No, but seriously, I was a little bit worried about that!) There were SOOO many people at Disneyworld when we were there, but it didn’t stop up from having a great time. Amazing memories made that we will never forget! If any of you are considering taking your family to Disneyworld—I would highly recommend it. I was a little hesitant to take our 4 young kids there (they are 6 and under) but there was lots to do for that age and we took our double stroller and went on on our merry way and did everything we could while we were there! My biggest tip for you would be to do your research though before you go. We decided to go to Disneyworld fairly last minute, but I talked to friends and family who had been their before hand, watched you-tube videos of rides, and read blogs online for tips, and it was definitely worth the time and effort!
One of the highlights of my trip that is worth mentioning (my Canadian friends will understand!) was my trip to Target! Yes—Target was a highlight of my trip! If you are an American and are reading this, you are used to having the luxury of going to Target on a frequent basis. But we no longer have Target in Canada (much to my dismay!) so any chance I get with access to Target is always a highlight. We checked 3 large suitcases on our vacation because I was planning to go to Target to hit up the Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia collection by Joanna Gaines, and I knew I wanted extra space in my suitcase to bring a few things home with me! As much as I loved the dishware, it wasn’t very conducive to loading up in a suitcase. So I stuck with bedding and linens. From the Hearth & Hand line, I bought this striped table runner, linen duvet cover, and organic sheet set. I’m loving pops of black in my decor lately, so when I saw this black and white lumbar pillow by Threshold, (another of my favorite brands at Target) I knew it would work perfectly with the duvet cover.
I washed up my sheets and duvet cover so that I could put them to use today, and let me tell you, they didn’t disappoint! The embroidered detail of the duvet cover is so beautiful, and I love that the duvet cover is made of linen and cotton. The sheets are soooo soft, and I can’t wait to cozy up in them tonight.
You may have noticed my vintage-style bluetooth speaker on the nightstand. I can’t even tell you how incredible it is! The sound quality is better than other speakers we’ve owned, and not only is it portable with a cute leather handle, but it looks amazing too! Even my husband was impressed with it, and bought a second one for our household!
I added these cable knit pillows that I ordered from Amazon to my bed as well. Because…you can never have too many pillows, right?! The large euro pillows in the back have these frilly euro shams with eyelet details around the edge. I’ve shared them before in this post. The rug in my room is this rug from Wayfair.
I am so thrilled with my Target haul. What do you all think of my choices? My cat jumped up on the bed as soon as I made it (as usual), so he seems to be fan of it all! I’d love to hear feedback from you all!

I love your beautiful style! Is the duvet cover more of a white or off-white/ light cream color?

Thank you! I would say definitely the duvet cover is more off-white or cream. I’d maybe call it ivory? It’s quite a contrast to the pure white euro shams I have in the back, but I don’t mind mixing whites.
