We are less than a week away from November, so I can’t help but have Christmas decor on my mind! I’m not quite ready to decorate for Christmas yet, but I have definitely been thinking about it! My husband hung our Christmas lights last weekend, because it’s best to get it done before the weather is cold and the roof is snow and ice covered. Our roof is quite high and steep! It may be early, but we’ve been turning the lights on at night too, because why not? I love driving around the corner and seeing our Christmas lights!
I may not be quite ready to start officially decorating for Christmas yet, but I did pick up a couple Christmas decorations at HomeSense that I plan to use this year. I found these cute evergreen trees to use on my mantel. Isn’t the black and white plaid base cute? The branches look quite real, so that’s why I bought these. They have just a hint of sparkle. I needed to “test” it out, so they are currently sitting quite proudly amongst my fall mantel decor!
I also found these cute pine trees that have a similar look.
HomeSense had a ton of beautiful ornaments, and quite a few “vintagey” looking ones that I loved. I chose these gold glass ornaments. I love the crackled finish, and also the time-worn look of the hanging ring. I also love that they have a ribbon attached to easily hang them on the tree. I can’t wait to hang them! Aren’t they pretty?
I plan to decorate with gold, silver, and white this year. I thought these glittery snowflake ornaments would also be a nice addition to our Christmas tree, so I’m thinking about ordering some.
I’ve been wanting a green garland to hang around my front door, and this beautiful Christmas garland looks like it would be perfect. I love the life-like, frosted spruce branches. I can just picture it looking so beautiful draped around the entrance to my home at Christmas!
I thought this berry and balsam wreath was the perfect farmhouse style wreath for the front door. This beautiful, wispy looking wreath with pinecones also caught my eye. I think they are both very farmhouse style, and would be stunning on my door!
These paper trees would be so cute on a mantel at Christmas time. I love the white!
I thought this Merry Christmas door mat would be so cute to welcome guests for dinner or a Christmas party.
If you love vintage decor, how adorable is this vintage style North Pole mailbox!!? I could see my kids loving to mail a letter to Santa in this old, authentic looking mailbox.
What do you guys think of my Christmas picks? When do you all start decorating for Christmas? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
