Happy Halloween, everyone! I’m actually sharing some CHRISTMAS finds with you today, but I thought I would also take a moment to quickly share our (very minimal) Halloween decor. We don’t make a huge deal about Halloween around here, but we did manage to carve one big pumpkin last night. There were a few tears (and a bit of arguing) in the beginning, but once we agreed on a design for our pumpkin, (a ghost), the kids had fun. Everyone was able to help a little bit and the kids were happy overall. I bought this pumpkin carving kit and it had some easy templates and effective tools that made the pumpkin carving process easy. I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid, we just used our regular kitchen knives…and kids and big carving knives don’t mix well! Even as an adult, you almost always carve off an area of the pumpkin you planned to keep. With the kit tools, it was way easier to carve our pumpkin! If you don’t have one of these kits, it’s definitely worth the small investment!

With Halloween being done and over tomorrow, I’m sure Christmas decor will soon be out in full swing. I’m not sure when I will start decorating for Christmas, but I definitely plan to start sometime in November. Right after Christmas, I’m ready to take everything down, so I might as well enjoy it as long as possible!
I just ordered 2 of these little 2′ white Christmas trees. For $8 each, I thought this was great price! I have never owned a white tree before, so I’m super excited! I have a couple places in mind for these little trees, but I’m sure my daughter is going to want one in her room if she has her way!
I’ve been seeing tons of Christmas inspiration on Pinterest that always includes cute Christmas pillows. I don’t own any, so I may have to change that! I thought this Christmas tree pillow was cute!
I’ve been looking for some cute Christmas stockings and I love these cable knit and faux fur ones! Stockings can be quite expensive, and these ones are more budget friendly than some others I’ve come across lately.
If you’re looking for a cozy and great quality throw blanket, this plaid throw blanket would be perfect for curling up on the couch to watch a Christmas movie! I think it would also make a nice Christmas gift.
I love these twig wreaths with white berries on them. I have a similar one that I plan to pull out for Christmas, and I love that it doesn’t just scream Christmas and works throughout the winter season. I’ve also used mine in the spring.
These galvanized buckets would be really cute to place your Christmas trees inside. I love the handles! They would also look great with some cedar branches or logs of wood on the front porch.
I love this faux fur tree skirt that looks like snow. My cat always loves to curl up on the tree skirt, and I’m sure he’d love this soft, furry one even more than the one we have!
These reindeer grain sack pillow covers are adorable!
I think the pillow above would be cute paired with these red and white plaid pillow covers. (I have these ones in black!)
I love the idea of filling a lantern with white LED string lights and spruce tree branches. You could also fill them with Christmas ornaments. It would make an easy centerpiece or be a welcoming addition on the front porch.
I love anything galvanized, and I think these galvanized stars would be a cute decoration on a mantel or shelf at Christmas.
When do you start decorating for Christmas? Is anyone planning to start tomorrow? I’m looking forward to starting in a week or two! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
