Cozy Modern Living Room Inspiration

It feels like forever since I’ve been on here to write a blog post! Now that it’s summer and I have more free time on my hands, I’m ready to tackle some of the random projects that have been swirling in my head! I created a cozy modern living room inspiration board to help my focus my vision for my basement living room area.

I actually just got back from a wonderful family vacation in the mountains. It was sooooo nice to get away and spend quality time with my family! Our days were full of going to the beach, river floating, mini-golfing, and more swimming at the waterpark. Summer is always so short and sweet, but I’m enjoying every minute of it.

Even on vacation, I dream of projects to do when I get home! My basement has been in limbo for a while now, and is first on my to-finish list. A few months ago I painted a navy accent wall in our basement and I absolutely love it! We also upgraded our 17 year old couch recently and purchased a new charcoal grey sectional from a local store. It is huge and so comfy for curling up to watch a movie with the entire family. I couldn’t link my sectional for you, but I did find the link to another amazing sectional that I was eyeing from Sean and Catherine Lowe’s furniture collection on Wayfair!
