I was in HomeSense a couple weeks ago, and I was a little surprised to see they had already cleared out almost all their Halloween Decor and moved on to Christmas. Not that I was surprised the Christmas stuff was on the shelf, but I didn’t expect their Halloween selection to be limited to one little table already. Now, this didn’t bother me one bit, because I don’t actually decorate for Halloween, except for the pumpkins we carve. So I happily browsed the Christmas decor!
It may be a little early, but with Christmas season approaching, I thought it would be fun to do a round up of some fun Christmas pillows. Of course, there are tons of flashy pillows out there with Santa, Rudolph and brightly-coloured Christmas trees. That’s all fine and dandy, if that’s your style. But if you prefer a more subtle Christmas look, what options are there out there for you? I’ve rounded up some fun finds for you below. I love that many of these pillows could be mixed and matched to go together!

This first pillow I love because it has so much texture! This nubby, knotted snowflake pillow is adorable! It’s nice and neutral and would work in your home all winter. I think this might be the prettiest Christmas pillow I’ve seen!
If you want a neutral pillow to pair with some other Christmas pillows, this tan plaid pillow would go great with so many options! I actually have these pillow covers in grey, and they are great quality and I love them!
I thought this wreath pillow was so cute. I love the little berries on it! It also has beautiful texture and is cute and Christmasy without being tacky. I thought it would look great on a bench in the entry way.
This joy pillow would look great paired with some of the other neutral pillows I mentioned above.
Here’s another snowflake pillow that I absolutely adore!
Plaid is the perfect option if you are looking for a pillow that doesn’t limit you to just the Christmas season. The stitching around the edge of this plaid pillow is cute!
If you like a more plush texture, this red plaid pillow has a woollen feel.
My favorite pillow I own is an expensive Magnolia pillow that my husband bought me. It is made of a textured, knubby wool, and this Christmas tree pillow reminds me of it! It also comes in green or navy!
If you need a set of two, this red and white plaid pillow set is perfect. I own these pillows in the black and white buffalo plaid, and I couldn’t be happier with them!
I love farmhouse style pillows, and I thought this Farm Fresh Christmas Trees pillow cover was really cute!
These red plaid pillows would be perfect for adding a little Christmas decor to your master bedroom or living room! They would also work year-round, which is a bonus! I’m considering ordering these ones for my living room this Christmas!
Black and white pretty much always works in a space, and so would this cute tree pillow!
This shiny, velvety soft silver pillow would look great if you want to add a little bit of sparkle to a room.
This poinsetta pillow I thought was really pretty. If you wanted a little more color or pattern, this could be beautiful on your couch!
White cable knit pillows are always cozy and classic, and work year round. I love this simple white knit pillow cover!
One thing to note is most of these pillows are covers only and do not come with the pillow inserts. I prefer to buy my pillow inserts at Ikea, because the price and quality is good. I love the feather ones they sell in the 20″ x 20″ size, but for some pillow covers these are a little too big. If you need something smaller, these 18″ x 18″ feather pillow inserts should work. They are similar to the Ikea pillows, just smaller.
Which pillows caught your eye? I hope this helps you get a head start on thinking about your Christmas decor!
