Hello, it’s been a while!
I have a fun upcoming project that I want to share with you all! We are making a few updates at my husband’s work office. The bathrooms REALLY need some work! Below is my inspiration for the space—a brass and black bathroom!
Keeping busy!
I can’t believe it’s been more than a year since I’ve written a blog post! Whew, life gets busy, I tell ya! I honestly haven’t had much to share and I haven’t felt like posting for a while. I’m finding as my kids get older and are more involved in activities, the busier life gets. Winter is full of hockey practice and games, and summer is full of swim club and swim meets. My kids’ activities keep my hoppin’! Who can relate?
Fun Upcoming Project:
I also hope to share a little of the interior makeover I plan to do at my husband’s work office building! There are a lot of things I want to change, but our budget (sadly) is limited. I have some fun ideas swirling in my head for things I could do to work with what is there. It will be mostly a cosmetic makeover that doesn’t involve walls getting torn down or anything. Fresh paint and new artwork are on the list, and some new flooring in part of the office. I love projects like this because I find they really get my creative juices flowing! Fixing up the bathrooms is one of my top priorities. They currently have the feel of a prison bathroom—(or what I imagine a prison bathroom would look like, anyway!) 🙂

The faucet is the only thing we have updated in the bathroom so far! Isn’t the new matte black tap cute?! I actually love this old sink. It’s tiny, but I love the vintage look and I think it’s perfect for this little space. I have plans to mount a cute soap bottle on the wall and spray paint this bracket a brass color. I also can’t wait to update the paint, mirror, and light fixture! Here is my brass and black bathroom inspo pic that I put together:
