Deciding which metal farmhouse bed I wanted to purchase for my son was tough. Obviously, I need the bed to be well-built and long-lasting. I put a lot of stock in reviews from people, and I love when people upload their own photos of products into their review. Sometimes it’s so hard to imagine what the item will look like in my own space, or in different lighting, etc., so as many reviews and photos I can look as possible is super helpful. With style, durability, and cost being my main concerns, I decided to order this metal farmhouse bed. There were three color options: black, bronze, and white. I liked the idea of black but didn’t want shiny. Based on other’s reviews and photos, I decided on bronze. When it arrived, I second guessed my decision when I first took it out of the box. It looked a little more brown than I thought it would look, but I loved the rough, antique-like finish.
Once the bed was set up, I was happy with my decision to purchase the bronze color. I’m sure black would also have been a nice choice, but the shinier finish wasn’t what I was looking for. I purchased the bed on sale for under $200, and free shipping was included, so it was a pretty great deal. I noticed after I ordered the bed that the price went down, and I called in to customer service and they gave me a price adjustment, which was pretty awesome!
I’ve also been considering getting a new rug for the boys’ room, and have narrowed it down to two.
I love this blue and gray rug because of it’s vintage look.
I also love this neutral rug, which I already own and am using in another room.
Do you guys think I made the right choice on the bronze finish of the bed? Which rug would you go with? I’d love for you to comment below!
